BILLING PREPARATION DIARY
Managing Internal Communications Around Invoicing
Abtrac offers two main comment options to help with invoice preparation notes: Job Billing Comments and WIP Admin Comments.
Job Billing Comments are single internal notes that carry over to invoices, while WIP Admin Comments allow multiple users to log dated notes for pre-billing discussions. Together, they help track invoicing details and decide what can be billed.

JOB STATUSES
Use Job Status to Track Proposals and Manage Jobs
Abtrac’s Job/Project Status is a simple but powerful tool for tracking both proposal and active job life cycles.
Administrators can customise a short list of statuses, which appear across reports and key screens, helping project managers review and track projects. Job statuses also support making jobs non-current when needed.
HOURS WORKED REPORTING
Need Reports for Payroll? Track Billable and Non-billable Hours
The 'Hours Worked by Employee and Client Report' in Abtrac provides a detailed breakdown of hours worked by employees across different clients and jobs, clearly distinguishing between chargeable and non-chargeable time.
Along with other reports in the Hours Worked range, it is commonly used for payroll reporting purposes.

USE GOOGLE MAPS IN ABTRAC
Need to Track your Projects Visually?
Activating Google Maps in Abtrac enables users to assign precise geographic coordinates to projects. With this add-on, users can pin project locations, adjust them directly on the map, facilitating spatial tracking and management.
This feature enhances project oversight by providing a visual representation of job sites and their proximity to one another.
