Hello,
As we approach the end of the year this November, we're looking forward to celebrate World Town Planning Day.
In this issue, we have some handy tips on setting up management roles for projects and reporting on jobs and tasks.
Plus, learn how to commit & uncommit timesheets and invoices.

setting up roles
Why use Project owners and Client Owners
Within Abtrac, you have the ability to designate multiple client and job owners to your projects, allowing you to easily filter reports by these individuals.
This feature helps the team to focus and keep on top of ongoing projects. Once a project is finished, the collected data can be utilised for performance reports.

committing timesheets
Learn how to commit and lock timesheets
Once a timesheet is complete in Abtrac, you can commit it to prevent further editing by the users.
Timesheets and invoices can also be locked with a lock date in system settings, so that nothing can be entered or edited with a date equal to or less than the lock date.
Committing invoiceS
Maintaining accurate invoice data
We recommend committing an invoice before sending it. Committing an invoice is a way to signal that it is complete. It is also a way to lock the invoices to prevent any edits from users with lesser access.
Users with higher access privileges may be granted permission to uncommit the committed invoice based on their user group.

abtrac reporting
Do you want to have a quick overview of your jobs and tasks?
The Current Jobs and Tasks report gives a list of your projects and their tasks, with estimate start dates, and any estimated time and fee budget information.
It's often run for the current month or week, and used in planning meetings.
It can help you to have a quick overall picture of the current jobs managed by your business. You can also view it retrospectively for non-current jobs.
