In a major study conducted by students at The University of Waikato, Abtrac topped the list
as the most preferred Practice Management System.
The survey canvassed professional services business across a wide geographic region covering
New Zealand's Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.
Participants were asked a series of questions in a written survey. There were also
face-to-face meetings and follow ups.
The conclusion ??
Even some businesses
that were not using Abtrac said it was their preferred practice management system!
The study covered functionality, price, ongoing support (a big factor),
documentation and other
areas one would expect to be covered in assessing a business software package.
Abtrac came out on top, ahead of other local and well known international packages.
Abtrac marketing director Pamela O'Leary says, "This result is a huge lift for us.
We knew we had a loyal and ever expanding user base. One of the first people we heard
about it from was a comparatively new Abtrac client. They emailed us the news.
It got us pretty excited. We have worked alongside of universities before,
mentoring students, lecturing, and allowing groups to 'use' our business for class study
and student project purposes. But we hadn't realised the breadth and depth of this
particular exercise. The result of course is incredibly pleasing. The challenge
now, as always is to keep ahead."
