Evolving from the conventional practice of filing of correspondence and plans in hard copy format, Abtrac Document Management now manages details of the location of both hard copy and soft copy documents. For the latter, the user can establish links from the relevant job screen, through the job document management window, to specific documents on the server or across the network. Documents may be letters or memos in any format, saved emails, PDFs, or plan documents. Once linked, clicking on the document link will open the document for viewing using the relevant file association.
